Lady Lions Softball off to Hot Start
The Bremen Girls Softball team put on an impressive performance with a 12-1 win in their opener over Fairfield on Friday night in Goshen. The Lady Lions pounded out 12 hits including home runs by Mickie Shively & Peyton Mason. Shively ended the night with three hits, Chrissy Grabowski had three hits including two doubles, Delainey Neher added two hits with a double, Eliana Grubbs, Yajaira Jimenez & Elle Kling each had a hit. To top of the order did their job as Grubbs scored 3, Shively scored 4 & Grabowski twice.
Grabowski picked up the win relying on her defense from the circle while scattering three hits, striking out three, and allowing only two free passes to first.
