March 22, 2024: Meridian, MS 39305 In Friday's non-league contest, the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS), by a margin of 9-0.
With the triumph, Caledonia moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Houston (Houston, MS) to play the Hilltoppers in a 4A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, March 26. The Hilltoppers come into the contest with a record of 10-8. Houston lost 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS)
