March 22, 2024: Murrysville, PA 15668 Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mars for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28.
With the loss, Jefferson-Morgan falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY) to face the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 23. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
