Florida High School Softball - Strawberry Crest bounces Hillsborough
March 22, 2024: Tampa, FL 33603 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Strawberry Crest Chargers (Dover, FL) and the host Hillsborough Terriers (Tampa, FL), saw Strawberry Crest's softball squad nip Hillsborough by a count of 7-0.
The Chargers now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newsome for a 7A District 6 match on Monday, March 25. Strawberry Crest will face a Wolves squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL). The Wolves record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Hillsborough falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Wharton (Tampa, FL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-3. Wharton won 18-4 in their recent non-league match against Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa, FL)
