The Lafayette Commodores the host Northpoint Christian Trojans softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Commodores (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors go into the 5A Region 1 battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Corinth by Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 2-0, in a league battle.
