Mississippi High School Baseball - New Hope held off by East Webster
March 22, 2025: Maben, MS 39750 East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 4-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, East Webster moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS) to confront the Chargers in a 3A Region 4 match on Tuesday, March 25. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 10-3. Choctaw County won 15-10 in their recent non-league match against Louisville (Louisville, MS)
The Trojans now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corinth for a 5A Region 1 match on Tuesday, March 25. New Hope will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 12-2 league win over West Point (West Point, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 8-6.
