The West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR) baseball trounced the host Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 13-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Habra for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. West Linn will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Capistrano Valley Christian drops to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 7-2.
