North Carolina High School Lacrosse - St. Xavier overwhelms Charlotte Catholic
March 22, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28226 The St. Xavier Bombers lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the host Charlotte Catholic Cougars to 6 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bombers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Moeller for a Region 4 challenge on Wednesday, March 26. St. Xavier will clash with a Fighting Crusaders squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH). The Fighting Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Charlotte Catholic falls to 3-5 on the year. The Cougars host Butler (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Southwestern/So Meck challenge on Monday, March 24. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Butler lost 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)
