March 22, 2025: Albany, LA 70711 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the host Albany Hornets (Albany, LA), observed St. Thomas More's softball team prevail over Albany by a tally of 15-0.
The Cougars (14-5) will now prepare for their bout against Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 4-12 record. In their last bout, Rayne knocked off Westgate (New Iberia, LA), 17-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Albany will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA).
