Virginia High School Softball - Lebanon Alleghany
March 22, 2025: Lebanon, VA 24266 Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA), 9-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Alleghany upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 3-0.
The Pioneers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Amherst County for a non-league game on Saturday, March 22. Lebanon will play a Lancers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-1.
