March 22, 2025: Lepanto, AR 72354 East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR), 8-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, East Poinsett County improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Manila (Manila, AR) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, March 24. The Lions enter the game with a record of 4-3. Manila won 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR)
The Patriots now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Millington Central for a non-league game on Saturday, March 22. Palestine-Wheatley will play a Trojans squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Craigmont (Memphis, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.
