California High School Softball - Peninsula can't get by El Toro
March 22, 2025: Lake Forest, CA 92630 El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 3-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, El Toro improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Chargers travel to San Clemente (San Clemente, CA) to play the Tritons in a Sea View game on Thursday, March 27. The Tritons enter the game with a record of 11-5. San Clemente won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Galena (Reno, NV)
The Panthers now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they host San Pedro for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. Peninsula will play a Pirates squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-2.
