Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting South Pittsburg Pirates (South Pittsburg, TN), 3-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Franklin County improves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Rebels travel to Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 22. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 1-5. Boyd-Buchanan lost 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Alcoa (Alcoa, TN)
