Arkansas High School Softball - Yellville-Summit bounces Green Forest
March 22, 2025: Yellville, AR 72687 The Yellville-Summit Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Green Forest Tigers to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cave City for a 3A Region 2 battle on Monday, March 31. Yellville-Summit will confront a Cavemen team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Green Forest moves to 1-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 7-6. Prairie Grove lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Springdale (Springdale, AR)
