Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR), 17-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Millington Central improves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Trojans host Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN) to play the Saints in a non-league game on Monday, March 24. The Saints enter the game with a record of 1-5. Briarcrest Christian lost 19-1 in their recent league game against St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN)

The Patriots now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Carlisle for a 2A Region 6 game on Monday, March 31.
