Arkansas High School Softball - Rivercrest topped by Salem
March 22, 2025: Salem, AR 72576 Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR), 11-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Salem improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Flippin (Flippin, AR) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Region 2 game on Monday, March 31. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 9-2. Flippin won 17-2 in their recent non-league game against Green Forest (Green Forest, AR)
The Colts now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Brookland for a non-league game on Sunday, March 30. Rivercrest will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-5.
