Georgia High School Soccer - Central nudges Hiram
March 23, 2021: Carrollton, GA 30116 Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 challenge, on Wednesday, March 24. Central will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA).
The Hornets now have a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blessed Trinity for a AAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, March 26. Hiram will confront a Titans team coming off a 9-0 league win over Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Titans record now stands at 5-0.
