March 23, 2022: Monroe, GA 30655 George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA), 7-4 in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oconee County for a 1A-5A Area 4 match on Friday, March 25. George Walton Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Lakeside (Evans, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.
With the defeat, Duluth drops to 2-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Gainesville (Gainesville, GA) to play the Red Elephants in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 29. The Red Elephants go into the match with a record of 1-7.
