Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Collins Tigers (Collins, MS), 12-1 in a league test.

With the win, Mize upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-12. Lawrence County lost 9-8 in their recent league test against Sumrall (Sumrall, MS)

With the defeat, Collins falls to 0-8 on the season. The Tigers host Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS) to battle the Oilers in a 2A Region 8 test on Thursday, March 30. The Oilers come into the test with a record of 0-7.
