Kentucky High School Baseball - South Warren nips Franklin-Simpson
March 23, 2023: Franklin, KY 42134 South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, South Warren upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY) to play the Lakers in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 25. The Lakers enter the battle with a record of 2-1. Russell County lost 12-7 in their recent non-league battle against Larue County (Hodgenville, KY)
The Wildcats now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ohio County for a non-league battle on Friday, March 24.
