March 23, 2023: Griffin, GA 30224 The West Laurens Raiders crushed the host Griffin Bears baseball team by a count of 19-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Baldwin for a 4A Area 2 bout on Friday, March 24. West Laurens will face a Braves team coming off a 10-0 league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Braves record now stands at 9-6.
Next, the Bears face the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a 4A Area 2 bout, on Monday, March 27. Griffin will attempt to move on its 0-16 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 5-6 record after their 15-3 league win over Westside (Macon, GA).
