Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD), 11-4 in a league battle.

The Leopards now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Governor Thomas Johnson for a CMC battle on Tuesday, March 28. Smithsburg will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Railroaders clash with the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) in a CMC battle, on Monday, March 27. Brunswick will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
