In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Hernando Tigers softball team scored a close 7-1 win over the DeSoto Central Jaguars.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 25. Hernando will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Patriots enter the outing with a 5-2 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN).

The Jaguars (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Whippets enter the non-league outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Kosciusko tipped Louisville (Louisville, MS), 16-0, in a league outing.
