Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 8-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parish Episcopal for a TAPPS Division I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Nolan Catholic will face a Panthers squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to John Paul II (Plano, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Prestonwood Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) to face the Friars in a TAPPS Division I District 2 challenge on Monday, April 3. The Friars enter the challenge with a record of 0-7.
