In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Arlington Heights Yellowjackets baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Richland Royals.

The Yellowjackets (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX). The Chaparrals go into the 5A Region I District 6 game with a 9-10 record. In their last game, Wyatt was overwhelmed by Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX), 7-5, in a league game.
