March 23, 2024: Alexander City, AL 35010 The Benjamin Russell Wildcats baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Homewood Patriots to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Russell County (Seale, AL). The Warriors go into the 6A Area 4 match with a 8-15 record. In their last match, Russell County tipped Auburn (Auburn, AL), 10-1, in a non-league match.
The Patriots (12-8) will now prepare for their match against Rehobeth (Dothan, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Rehobeth tipped Carroll (Ozark, AL), 3-1, in a league match.
