Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Erath upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Bobcats travel to St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Saints in a non-league battle on Monday, March 25. The Saints enter the battle with a record of 14-10. St. Louis Catholic lost 12-11 in their recent league battle against Westlake (Westlake, LA)

The Eagles now possess a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Lafourche for a non-league battle on Monday, March 25. Central Catholic will play a Tarpons squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Bourgeois (Gray, LA). The Tarpons record now stands at 8-10.
