The South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) softball routed the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), 29-12 in Saturday's league bout.

The Vikings (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Sparks (Sparks, NV). The Railroaders go into the 3A North - West bout with a 2-9 record. In their last bout, Sparks was routed by North Valleys (Reno, NV), 14-2, in a league bout.
