March 23, 2024: Pitkin, LA 70656 The Pitkin Tigers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Pitkin moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Hicks (Leesville, LA) to play the Pirates in a B District 4 game on Tuesday, March 26. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 7-6.
In their next game, the Trailblazers play the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) in a 3A District 3 game, on Monday, March 25. Lake Charles College Prep will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 5-12 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to Pitkin (Pitkin, LA).
