Kentucky High School Softball - Nelson County bounces Thomas Nelson
March 23, 2024: Bardstown, KY 40004 Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY), 11-1 in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bullitt East for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. Nelson County will face a Chargers squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY). The Chargers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Thomas Nelson falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Generals host Bardstown (Bardstown, KY) to face the Tigers in a District 19 challenge on Monday, March 25. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Bardstown lost 16-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY)
