Wisconsin High School Softball - Thorp bounces Rhinelander
March 23, 2024: Rhinelander, WI 54501 Thorp Cardinals (Thorp, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rhinelander Hodags (Rhinelander, WI), 23-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Owen-Withee for a Cloverbelt - East challenge on Monday, April 1. Thorp will battle a Blackhawks squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Thorp (Thorp, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Rhinelander falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Hodags travel to Medford (Medford, WI) to battle the Raiders in a Great Northern challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Medford lost 14-9 in their recent non-league challenge against New London (New London, WI)
