The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Huntington was overwhelmed by St. Albans (St. Albans, WV), 10-2, in a league contest.

The Vikings now possess a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Breathitt County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 24. Rowan County will confront a Bobcats squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-2.
