March 24, 2022: Sellersburg, IN 47172 Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. Bloomington Central Catholic will battle a Pioneers & Lady Pioneers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to White County (Sparta, TN). The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Silver Creek falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Villa Grove won 11-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN)
