In Friday's league challenge, the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX), by a final score of 8-1.

With the win, Elysian Fields upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets host West Rusk (New London, TX) to encounter the Raiders in a 3A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. West Rusk lost 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX)
