The South Pointe Stallions baseball team (Rock Hill, SC), was overwhelmed 14-7 in Friday's league outing with the host Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC)

The Bruins now hold a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a 4A Region 3 outing on Monday, March 27. Lancaster will confront a Copperheads team coming off a 5-2 league win over York (York, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 7-2.

Next, the Stallions confront the Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC) in a 4A Region 3 outing, on Monday, March 27. South Pointe will attempt to advance on its 0-12 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC).
