Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), 7-5 in a league battle.

The Matadors now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berkeley for a non-league battle on Monday, March 27. Miramonte will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-5.

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 29. Northgate will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
