Independence (Ashburn, VA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA), 16-5 in a non-league battle.

The now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Broad Run for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 28. Independence will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to John Champe (Aldie, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Pride clash with the Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Heritage will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
