March 24, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) and the visiting Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Nansemond River's soccer squad knock off Salem by a count of 2-0.
The Warriors now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Granby for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 28. Nansemond River will meet a Comets squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Comets record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Salem drops to 3-2 on the season. The Sundevils travel to Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) to meet the Marlins in a Beach test on Thursday, April 6. The Marlins come into the test with a record of 2-2.
