March 24, 2023: Eastsound, WA 98245 The Darrington Loggers (Darrington, WA) softball routed the host Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), 16-2 in Friday's league bout.
The Loggers (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Coupeville (Coupeville, WA). The Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record.
The Vikings now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Anacortes for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 28. Orcas Island will confront a Seahawks squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-0.
