In Monday's league challenge, the host Chico Panthers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Foothill Cougars.

The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Oroville (Oroville, CA). The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Oroville was nudged by Shasta (Redding, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
