Kentucky High School Lacrosse - Eastern overwhelms Sayre
March 24, 2025: Louisville, KY 40243 The Eastern Eagles lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Sayre Spartans to 4 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 27. Eastern will clash with a Valkyries squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Assumption (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Sayre falls to 0-1 on the year. The Spartans host Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 27. The Broncos go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Frederick Douglass won 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)
