North Carolina High School Soccer - East Wake Academy toppled by Franklin Academy
March 24, 2025: Wake Forest, NC 27587 Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Franklin Academy moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC) to meet the Unicorns in a Super Six 1A/2A test on Friday, March 28. The Unicorns come into the test with a record of 3-4. NCSSM: Durham won 9-0 in their recent league test against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC)
The Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Raleigh Charter for a Super Six 1A/2A test on Wednesday, March 26. East Wake Academy will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 3-0 league win over Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 4-1.
