James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 7-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, James River Midlothian advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Rapids travel to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Hawks in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 27. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 1-0.

Next, the Patriots face the Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils (Fork Union, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 26. Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
