Virginia High School Lacrosse - Monticello drops to Hanover
March 24, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22902 Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 6-1 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Hanover improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hawks host Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 0-2. Deep Run lost 16-2 in their recent non-league game against Collegiate (Richmond, VA)
The Mustangs now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goochland for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. Monticello will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
