Virginia High School Soccer - Patrick County toppled by Bassett
March 24, 2025: Bassett, VA 24055 Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bassett advances its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bengals host Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a Piedmont test on Wednesday, March 26. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-0. Tunstall won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
The Cougars now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dan River for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. Patrick County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
