Virginia High School Softball - Briar Woods bounces Freedom

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) and the host Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA), observed Briar Woods's softball team get by Freedom by a tally of 5-0.

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Loudoun Valley tipped John Champe (Aldie, VA), 16-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Unity Reed Lions (Manassas, VA) in a Cedar Run bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Freedom will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA).
