The Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns triumphed over the visiting Granite Hills Eagles softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns meet the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 26. Rancho Buena Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Norsemen enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA).

The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks enter the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Del Norte edged Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA), 8-6, in a non-league challenge.
