Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA), 16-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hopewell upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to play the Lancers in a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 3-5. Deer Lakes won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Freeport (Freeport, PA)
