In Tuesday's league bout, the Serra Catholic Eagles (McKeesport, PA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA), by a tally of 11-0.

Next up, the Eagles encounter the Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 25. Serra Catholic will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA).

With the defeat, Monessen drops to 0-2 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Washington (Washington, PA) to clash with the Prexies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 26.
