Louisiana High School Softball - Central topped by St. Amant
March 24, 2026: Baton Rouge, LA 70818 St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA), 15-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Amant improves its record to 20-4 on the year. The Gators travel to Walker (Walker, LA) to battle the Wildcats in a 5A District 5 match on Thursday, March 26. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 16-3. Walker won 14-4 in their recent league match against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) in a 5A District 4 match, on Thursday, March 26. Central will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Broncos come into the match with a 8-10 record after their 21-0 league win over Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA).
